Headquartered in Austin, Texas, and with satellite offices in Houston, Atlanta, and Denver, Treaty Oak features an experienced management team with a track record of developing, commercializing and executing 2 GW+ of utility-scale solar projects, and structuring bespoke offtakes and derivative products for 8 GW+ of power projects in the US. Treaty Oak’s management team has a collective 50+ years’ experience across the critical competencies, including power markets, offtake structuring, design, engineering and real estate.  

The Role

Treaty Oak is seeking an IT Intern. The role will be responsible for assisting users with technical support by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting issues/problems, Hardware setup’s, implementing solutions, and maintaining process documentation and inventory for the Austin office on site. The position reports to the Director, IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Exceptional customer service skills, listening, and interpersonal skills.  
• Excellent communication skills both in person and via email
• Assists in the testing and maintaining of application tools and solutions.   
• Understands standard systems development lifecycle processes and applies our methodology effectively on engagements.   
• Provides answers to users by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding user through corrective steps with working with our MSP and IT Director  
• Setup and install hardware (laptops, monitors, docking stations..etc)
• Participates in development of user training programs including manuals by identifying learning needs/trends, recommending instructional change and delivery methods.  
• Improves system performance by identifying problems, recommending changes.  

• Updates job knowledge by becoming well versed in TOCE process and procedures.

Education and Qualifications

• Must be in at least a 4-year IT undergraduate program or enrolled in a graduate program. 
• Must be proficient in Office 365 and other Microsoft products.  
• Knowledge of Adobe suite   
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal/written skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• High level of Customer service and takes pride in their work.  
• ERP knowledge a plus   
• Experience with IT Ticketing systems.  
• Experience working with AV equipment along with Zoom and MS Teams  
• Knowledge of Server-side scripting (Nice to have but not necessary)
• Knowledge of Power BI (nice to have)
