The Role
Treaty Oak Clean Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Associate to support compliance and treasury operations across its renewable energy portfolio. This role ensures adherence to both project level and corporate credit agreements, manages covenant tracking, supports treasury functions, and contributes to strategic financial planning for projects in development, construction, and operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in infrastructure or energy finance and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
Credit Agreement Compliance
- Review and interpret project level and corporate credit agreements and tax equity documents for utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects.
- Track and report on financial and operational covenants, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Maintain a centralized compliance calendar and reporting dashboard.
- Coordinate with legal, project finance, and asset management teams to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
- Support lender and investor communications, including periodic reporting.
Treasury Management
- Monitor and manage cash positions across project and corporate accounts.
- Support liquidity planning and cash flow forecasting for construction and operational assets.
- Implement treasury controls and support automation initiatives.
Systems & Tools
- Utilize Treasury Management Systems such as Trovata along with NetSuite and SiteTracker to support cash management, financial reporting, and compliance workflows.
- Support integration and optimization of financial systems across the organization.
- Contribute to system implementations and upgrades.
Strategic Planning & Capital Access
- Support Annual Business Planning (ABP) and forecasting processes by providing treasury and compliance inputs.
- Coordinate documentation and internal approvals for accessing capital facilities, including revolving credit lines, construction loans, and tax equity draws.
- Prepare and manage approval workflows for capital access requests, ensuring alignment with internal governance and external requirements.
- Collaborate with finance leadership to align capital strategy with project milestones and liquidity needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with development, construction, and asset management teams to understand project timelines and financial needs.
- Support internal audits and risk assessments related to financial operations.
- Contribute to process improvements and system implementations.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in compliance, treasury, or project finance, preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure.
- Familiarity with credit agreements (project and corporate), tax equity structures, and treasury operations.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
